You must hold a current motorcycle licence or permit that legally allows you to ride the motorcycle you are renting. You are responsible for complying with all licence conditions and restrictions.

The minimum rental age is 21 years, unless a different requirement is specified for a particular motorcycle. Additional age or riding-experience requirements may apply to certain bikes.

Yes. You'll need to provide a valid motorcycle licence and identification before collecting your motorcycle. Additional verification may be required.

A refundable security deposit or bond may be required for your rental. The applicable amount and payment requirements will be shown during the booking process. We try to keep our bonds low and have an adventure accessible for everyone.

Your rental includes the motorcycle for the agreed rental period, subject to the booking conditions. Helmets or other equipment may be available depending on the motorcycle and booking.

The kilometre allowance is unlimited! We only ask that if you plan to do a lot of kilometres you let us know iin advance so we can have the bike freshly serviced or arange servicing for wherever you are in Australia

Yes. You can select the rental period available for the motorcycle when making your booking. Longer rentals will usually have cheaper rates

Only the renter or another rider specifically authorised by Drifter may ride the motorcycle. You must not allow an unauthorised person to operate the bike.

Passengers are permitted only where the motorcycle is designed and legally approved to carry one, and where the rider is legally permitted to carry a passenger.

Contact Drifter as soon as possible. If the motorcycle develops a serious mechanical problem, stop riding if continuing could be unsafe or cause further damage. We'll provide as much assistance with recovery or repair as we can to keep you moving.

Make sure everyone is safe first and contact emergency services or police where necessary. Then contact Drifter as soon as reasonably possible and provide us with all relevant details and information.

Damage is assessed after the motorcycle is returned. Where you're responsible for damage, applicable repair costs, insurance excesses or other reasonable costs may be charged, subject to the rental agreement and applicable law. However we do understand that mistakes happen and these bikes are made to be used. We will always do our best to find a fair outcome for all parties.

Only if specifically authorised by Drifter, motorcycles must only be ridden on lawful roads and areas for which they are designed and legally permitted. Sometimes the best spots aren't easy to get to. We have a range of offroad capable bikes, feel free to chat with us about your options.

Riding on a track is only permitted with our dedicated track bikes.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you're going to be late. Additional rental or other reasonable charges may apply, particularly where the late return affects another booking.

Yes, but returning the motorcycle early does not automatically entitle you to a refund for unused rental time.
